This photograph shows an example of medieval-inspired domestic architecture on Darley Road, in the Sydney suburb of Manly. The house is a non-functional modern example of the fortified houses that were built in Europe during the medieval period. The Darley Road house has crenellation above a bay window, as well as on two small square towers, giving the impression of the house being a small castle.
