The ABC TV programme Stateline Tasmania featured a report in 2009 titled ‘Medieval Instruments’. Reporter Rowan Dix interviewed Harry Wass and Graeme McCormack, two instrument makers based in the southern Tasmanian region of Pelverata. They specialise in wooden instruments from the eleventh century and into the Renaissance. The report specifically mentions the late-medieval instruments the hammered dulcimer and the moraharpa. The pair also plays in the medieval-influenced band Harlequin.
