The event is held at Fort Lytton National Park and features re-enactment groups covering the period from the Roman Empire to the Vietnam War. Within this broad time frame are a number of groups who focus on the medieval period, and the main arena at the event hosts a 14th century tournament. As well as martial displays in the arena, there are also market stalls, displays by local historical groups, and dance.
