Description

The St George Illawarra Dragons are a professional rugby league club based in Sydney, New South Wales. They were formed in 1998 from the merger of two previous clubs: St George Dragons and the Illawarra Steelers. The club’s logo is in the shape of a shield and features a silhouette of a mounted knight in armour and wearing a helmet, and a white fire-breathing winged dragon. Appropriately, their major sponsor is St George Bank, resulting in the head of another fire-breathing dragon (the Bank’s logo) being on the players jersey’s.
