In Perth, Western Australia, there are only two chapters of the SCA which are based in colleges (St. Basil (UWA) or St. Lazarus (Murdoch University). Therefore, this challenge was fought solely between St. Basil and St. Lazarus at the UWA campus on the 19th December 2010.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;About the Society for Creative Anachronism and the Kingdom of Lochac (the Australian and New Zealand regional branch of the SCA):  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Society for Creative Anachronism&lt;/strong&gt; is an international organisation which focuses on the study and 're-creation' of Medieval and Early Modern cultures and their histories before the seventeenth century. As the prime example of a 'living history' group, members of the SCA aim to re-create the past through applying elements of historical knowledge to a practical engagement with Medieval and Early Modern crafts, martial arts, science, metalwork and cooking (for example). Scotâ€™s Church was built in a decorated Gothic Revival style to the design of architectural firm Reed &amp; Barnes. It is constructed from Barrabool Hills freestone with sandstone dressings sourced from New Zealand. The current Scotâ€™s Church building was completed in 1874 and replaced an older church that had operated from the site since 1841. The site was granted to the Church of Scotland in 1839, and transferred to the Presbyterian Church of Victoria upon its formation in 1859 (when the Church of Scotland, the United Presbyterian Church and the Free Church united). Other characteristic neo-gothic features of Scotâ€™s Church include its 120ft spire, which for a number of years was the highest point in Melbourneâ€™s townscape, its decorative quoins, buttresses, and pinnacles. The church also boasts a number of stained glass windows by well-known artists such as Ferguson &amp; Urie of Melbourne, Van der poorten of Brussels and F.X. Zettler of Munich.</text>

                <text>A view of Scotâ€™s Church located on Collins Street in central Melbourne. The church was built in a decorated Gothic Revival style to the design of architectural firm Reed &amp; Barnes. It is constructed from Barrabool Hills freestone with sandstone dressings sourced from New Zealand. The current Scotâ€™s Church building was completed in 1874 and replaced an older church that had operated from the site since 1841. The site was granted to the Church of Scotland in 1839, and transferred to the Presbyterian Church of Victoria upon its formation in 1859 (when the Church of Scotland, the United Presbyterian Church and the Free Church united). Characteristic neo-gothic features of Scotâ€™s Churchâ€™s exterior include its 120ft spire, which for a number of years was the highest point in Melbourneâ€™s townscape, its stone tracery, decorative quoins, buttresses, pinnacles and lancet windows. The church also boasts a number of stained glass windows by well-known artists such as Ferguson &amp; Urie of Melbourne, Van der poorten of Brussels and F.X. Zettler of Munich.</text>

Voussoirs around the yellow doors and the numerous lancet windows are also in distinctive red brick. The large square tower with an octagonal steeple is another dominant feature of the churchâ€™s neo-gothic architecture.&#13;
