                <text>&lt;p&gt;St Mark&amp;rsquo;s Anglican Church is in the northern Tasmanian town of Deloraine. It was designed by William Henry Clayton (1823-1877) in the Gothic Revival style, in particular &amp;lsquo;Decorated&amp;rsquo; or &amp;lsquo;Victorian Free&amp;rsquo; Gothic. The foundation stone was laid in 1856 and the church was consecrated in 1860. In 1878 the chancel, sanctuary, north transept and rose window were added, and the vestry was added in 1969. As can be seen in one of the photographs, the church is unfinished and a proposed extension to the south fa&amp;ccedil;ade means that no windows have been added to that side. The most prominent part of St Mark&amp;rsquo;s is the three story octagonal tower on the north-west corner which is topped by a spire and includes lancet windows, pointed arch gables, and a stair turret. Other Gothic features of the brick church are the buttresses, pointed arch window in the west walls that include four lancet windows and tracery, pointed arch doorways, and a rose window.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

It was created by the firm Burlison and Grylls in London and installed in 1872. The window is made up of three lancet windows with a figure in each: Adam, Moses, and Abel. Below the each of the figures are scenes relating to their lives &amp;ndash; &amp;lsquo;The fall&amp;rsquo;, &amp;lsquo;Building the ark&amp;rsquo;, and &amp;lsquo;Cain and Abel&amp;rsquo;. These scenes are framed by a representation of delicate Gothic-style stonework features columns, arcading, pointed arches, and pointed finials.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

                <text>&lt;p&gt;This memorial board of the &amp;lsquo;St Andrews Memorial Endowment Roll&amp;rsquo; is in St Andrew&amp;rsquo;s Church of England (Anglican) in the small Tasmanian town of Westbury. It was carved by the Tasmanian woodcarver Ellen Nora Payne (1865-1962) of Hobart, who had been born in the Westbury district. As befits a church built in the Gothic Revival architectural style, the memorial board includes Gothic touches, primarily in the central panel. The carving of the Virgin and Child is housed in a Gothic niche featuring a pointed arch ending in a decorated finial. Behind the arch is the representation of two Gothic pointed arch windows with tracery forming a cross. There is also a finial on both vertical ends of the board.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

                <text>&lt;p&gt;St Mark&amp;rsquo;s Anglican Church is in the northern Tasmanian town of Deloraine. It was designed by William Henry Clayton (1823-1877) in the Gothic Revival style, in particular &amp;lsquo;Decorated&amp;rsquo; or &amp;lsquo;Victorian Free&amp;rsquo; Gothic. The foundation stone was laid in 1856 and the church was consecrated in 1860. In 1878 the chancel, sanctuary, north transept and rose window were added. The interior includes many Gothic features; particularly the carved rood screen from c. 1920 and the reredos wood panelling from 1895 in photograph one, both of which include prominent pointed arches in their design. The east and west pointed arch windows with tracery are both made up of four lancet windows with stained glass. The stained glass in the east window (above the reredos) was made by Melbourne-based stained glass artist William Montgomery (1850-1927) in 1909. The choir stalls (in front of the rood screen) were designed by Alexander North (1858-1945) and installed in 1934.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

                <text>&lt;p&gt;The Window of Roman-era Saints is in the south wall of St David&amp;rsquo;s Anglican Cathedral, Hobart. The large pointed arch window with stonework tracery is made up of three lancet windows with stained glass. Each lancet window features a Saint martyred during the rule of the Roman Empire: St Stephen (died c. 34), St Alban (3rd century), and St Laurence (c. 225-258). St Alban is depicted as a knight from the late middle ages in plate armour, an embroidered tunic, and wearing a sword. The saints stand upon a tiled platform of Gothic stonework featuring columns, blind arcading, pointed finials, as well as Romanesque semi-circular arches. Below each of the platforms is a heraldic shield.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

                <text>&lt;p&gt;The interior of St Andrew&amp;rsquo;s Church of England (Anglican) in the small Tasmanian town of Westbury continues the Gothic Revival style of its exterior. &amp;nbsp;The nave was designed by the convict architect James Blackburn (1803-1854) in 1840-02. Of particular note are the various carvings by Tasmanian woodcarver Ellen Nora Payne (1865-1962) of Hobart, who had been born in the Westbury district. These include the pulpit which was carved in London sometime between 1901 and 1906, and the &amp;lsquo;Seven Sisters&amp;rsquo; rood, or chancel, screen completed in 1938 as a memorial to her seven dead sisters. The screen features a recreation of tracery common in Gothic windows. Other Gothic features are the large pointed arch east window with tracery made up of three lancet windows with stained glass, lancet windows in the north and south walls, and the internal pointed-arch doors and doorways.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
