The helmets are based on designs known from excavations of migration age sites. In particular, the helmet in the foreground is similar to those of Vendal era Sweden, whilst the other is reminiscent of the helmet from the ship burial at Sutton Hoo in the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of East Anglia, England. Both of the helmets and swords display excellent workmanship.
