The article reports on a medieval ‘Celtic’-style wedding of two members of the Society of Creative Anachronism. The Hobart couple were married at Port Arthur wearing specially made medieval costumes and brandishing a sword each. The Society was created by graduates of the University of Berkley in California in the 1960s and has since branched out to include 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members in locations across the globe.
