Description

Celtic Blood is the debut novel by Australian author James John Loftus, published in July, 2011. The novel is set in 13th century Scotland and the conflict between Anglo-Norman-influenced royal knights living in the lowlands, and independent Highlanders. Witchcraft and the powers behind the powerful are sub-themes of the plot. The novel was in part inspired by William Shakespeare’s play set during Scotland’s medieval period, MacBeth.
